Flexikon: Write and edit articles

To edit an article in the Flexikon, please click on the "edit page" button in the box on the right side or at the bottom of the page. You will be presented with a text box containing the contents of this page. This edit box generally includes mainly plain text, but also some special commands, which enable the Flexikon software to create links, lists and other formattings.

There are several possibilities to edit an existing text:

If possible, please add a short explication about the changes made into the edit summary field.

Spelling or formatting corrections should be flagged as small changes. Such changes are marked with an "M" in the list of recent changes.

"Save page" saves the changes made in the edit box. "Preview" shows the page with the unsaved changes. It is also possible to revert a page to an earlier version.

To try it out, please use our playground.

Please find hints about composing an article here: Flexikon: How to write good articles. As a reference for good articles, please view the following page: Excellent articles.
